Yeah, I'm really disappointed in Australia. After the world so kindly went and opened that huge ozone hole right above you, just so you could have efficient solar power.

Well, use it or lose it. Now you know why we took it away!

These numbers are disgracefully low, IMHO.

We had solar hot water at our old place, and my parents always had it too (and it wasn't even cheap in those days). We've got electric here atm, but when that breaks down or gets a bit more age on it, we'll be getting solar hot water, and hopefully we'll put some solar cells for electricity on the roof too. Particularly since we realized during our recent blackouts that our water doesn't run when we've got no power. lol

I'm thinking of a small wind turbine too actually. Since we live by the bay, there's not too many days go by that we don't get a good breeze for at least a few hours.
