So lol gives us an avenue to express our inner laugh. Technology is GRAND!

We should all have a replacement word: when you would otherwise use lol you would use your own personal replacement word. Mine shall be...hmmmm...haggis. From now on, whenever I would type lol I will type haggis.

What will yours be?

I've always been pedantically irritated buy people who type LOL when I'm confident they have not laughed out loud. RK used to do it a lot.

Then again, I upbraid people on TV who misuse literally. Although sometimes they make me LOL. Like the girl on Big Brother who was "literally all over the place" the other night. Now that would have been worth seeing.
