I remember once a bunch of us kids playing in poodles, I mean puddles, and some old bat yelled at us that she bet our mom didn't know because the puddles were lousy, LOUSY I tell you, with leeches.

It's a shame the economy is so bad that you can only afford the one puddle for three children.

Growing up in Chicago in the 1960s, the streets were paved with gold and siswolf and I had two puddles each.

Our lawn gets like that too, when the septic tank needs to be pumped out. We don't usually let the kids play in it though.
