btw Nemesis at Alton towers = Raptor at CP = Thunderhawk at Michigan's Adventure and Kraken at Seaworld, but Busch Gardens' Manta is by far the best floorless coaster with 7 inversions.

The Corkscrew is the Corkscrew world over.

SG I agree muchly re Nemesis over the sheer drop one, but I did really enjoy the Dragster today

I am a rollercoaster fan.
I am.
I adore them.
But that.... thing.... above.
That's not a rollercoaster. It is a nightmare.

I'd go on it of course, just because it scares the bejesus out of me.
I am actually afriad of heights.
Which is why I went bungee jumping and will do it again if necessary.

Just looking at the Dragster makes me feel sick.

Bringing together two of my favourite things - rollercoasters and JB.
The qulaity is very poor, but at least it made it to Youtube - it was on a couple of months ago and I kicked myself for missing it.

John on Colossus

On Detonator

In interview, so you can see how much we missed in the previous clips

When he says he's not scared of anything it is supposed to be tongue in cheek. For example he is afraid of flying. Although not too afraid to be a frequent flyer, he is not a good traveller by his own admission.

Pump Me, Thump Me and Drive Me Home...? Hmmmmmm

Erm....
No

I'm converting the world, post by post. I think I may have Limey & DanaC on board already.
Wait til Torchwood starts on Starz! America will know his name!

(I edited, because I'd suggested that John Barrowman would marry Prince Harry. But then I felt bad because JB is already married to the gorgeous - and taller - Scott Gill. He's not a ginger, but that's excuseable.)

D'oh, I don't get Starz...but maybe I could for a month.

Monster, did you guys go to the Soak City too? Did you do the pool with the bar? It was the highlight of the trip for my husband and me. Booze, water and sun...oh yessss.

8th graders and bars? TBH, soak city looked lame from the Magnum compared to other water parks we have visited.

I did some fire/EMS work at Cedar Point last October. If you want to see something awesomely gross, look at the headrests on Top Thrill Dragster. There is a cartoon-like reverse outline of a head.. made by squished bugs haha.

Also don't take your phone on that ride. We treated a girl who was struck in the head by someone's Blackberry that launched off that ride. Not even kidding. The thing went up like the space shuttle, then dropped back down to earth smacking this poor girl right on the top of her head.

You didn't miss much with Disaster Transport. I've heard good things about the new ride Windseeker though.

I really need to go to Cedar Point. I've been to King's Island about four times in my life and loved every ride but never made it to Cedar Point.

I meant i missed reporting that I went on it. but I agree with your summary.

Hebe loved Windseeker, just not my thing. Not scared, but would be bored and perhaps get motion sickness.
