I ignore all those status C&P things. There is one that bugs me, simply because my mom had a huge guilt button installed in her children, and it says something like...IF YOU LOVE JESUS...THIS IS A TEST OF YOUR LOVE FOR GOD...IF YOU DON'T PASTE THIS...something somethign something, probably I'm going to hell for ever and ever and ever.

To put someone's quote under someone else's name, just multi-quote, then remove the quote symbols in between the name and the quote you want credited.

I had to steal Casi's C&P message.

I can't hardly stand to look at Facebook. Now I'm defecting (read: defecating) and moving to Google+.

Are you on Google+ already? How do you like it?

I'm going to try it out as soon as I can.

I scoffed the first time I read this one:

Quote:
How do you expect kids to listen to their parents when Tarzan lives half naked, Cinderella comes home at midnight, Pinocchio lies all the time, Aladdin is the king of thieves, Batman drives at 200 mph, Sleeping Beauty is lazy, and Snow White lives with 7 guys. We shouldn't be surprised when kids misbehave, they get it from their story book. Copy this on your wall if you laughed - I did

It's like a laugh that's stiffled. Or at least that's one definition. There's the one about not really believing what you're seeing or being told, but that wasn't the definition I was using.

What Ali said, but I'd add when you snort (however quietly) in disbelief at something or say "you've got to be kidding" (either to yourself or outloud).

How would the Stateside dwellars use it?

Usually to disregard with derision, which I pretty much figured Ali wasn't doing.

That is what I do. Or I just delete that post if I don't want to see it on my news feed.

Still trying to figure out how anon I can be on it. They want to link everything back to your EM and I am not big on that since my Google is my main one. I have one on Yahoo just for shopping, one Earthlink for business and serious shit. I may try it but only after I come up with a new Gmail address as an experiment. What do you think?

Well I have toyed with Google+ for a few days. It has some nicer bells and whistles but I think it also has some major privacy issues.

Welcome to Facebook - the place where relationships are perfect, liars believe they are telling the truth, and the world shows off they are living a good life. where your enemies visit your profile the most and your friends and family delete and block you. Even though you post what you really think, someone takes it the wrong way. If you agree post on your wall!

Dunno if its true or not, but ...
Quote:
A teacher in New York was teaching her class about bullying and gave them the following exercise to perform. She had the children take a piece of paper and told them to crumple it up, stomp on it and really mess it up but do not rip it. Then she had them unfold the paper, smooth it out and look at how scarred and dirty it was. She then told them to tell it they’re sorry. Now even though they said .........they were sorry and tried to fix the paper, she pointed out all the scars they left behind. And that those scars will never go away no matter how hard they tried to fix it. That is what happens when a child bully’s another child, they may say they’re sorry but the scars are there forever. The looks on the faces of the children in the classroom told her the message hit home. Copy and paste this if you are against bullying!See More
