People were worried that Clinton was so good, he'd eclipse Obama (taking Michelle out of the equation; she's supposed to shine like she does) but oh no!

I've felt so inspired the past 3 days of the convention. People can say I'm a starstruck koolaid drinker...but it's much more than that.

The values they espouse are the values I, well, value. The sincerity seems palpable. And, as I thought last night as I pondered how amazing Obama and his family seem, if there's a family of actors there then they're awfully good at it!

If lovin' them is wrong, I don't wanna be right.

Too bad more attention was not made to Tony Benn's ideas.

At the end of his speech, he announces that he intends "to divide the house tomorrow".
Question: What does this mean and what is the significance of such an announcement ?

Umm...Not 100 % sure but I think it means he will be bringing a motion against the government benches.

They vote on the motion by leaving through the left or the right door (Ayes to the right, noes to the left).

Nicky Campbell made me smile on the radio this morning.
They had a clip of part of Obama's speech as part of a news bulletin, and he was talking about America as the greatest country on earth. Switch straight to Nicky with his Scottish slightly deadpan voice saying, "Greatest country on earth, mate? You should try checking the medal tables."

Of course 5 Live is the official radio station for the Paralympics, so GB wins are given a high profile. And Jonnie Peacock did win gold last night in the T44 100m.
