02/12/03: More Public Nudity - Page 2

Any idea who took these??

Speaking as a photographer (or at least as someone who knows how to point a camera and press a button), the photo is striking primarily because of the color. The skin tone of the nude women is such an extreme contrast to the other colors in the photo (streets, buildings, and clothes of people) that it would be arresting even if they weren't butt baked but were just wearing clothes of that color. In fact, my reflex reaction was that this had to be a Photoshop job. I suppose there may be a statement in there somewhere about the warmth of nature contrasted with the cold, soullessness of modern urban civilization.

I did some googling and finally remembered where I got these. They're from nude-in-public.net It's been so long that I'd forgotten! I also happen to notice that they take their copyright seriously. So I think I'll leave it at this for now. :)

Also, there's no way they're photoshops, because thanks to my friend wget, I have over 500 meg of pictures like this. Unless they've just got a looot of time on their hands!

If I'm not mistaken, it's still legal in the state of New York for women to go topless in public.
