I got 6/7. (I thought belly button lint was gray. *shrugs*)

I clamored for (and got) an original edition TP set for Christmas the year it was released. My mom actually complained about the price ... $30 was unheard of for a board game at the time ... played the "it's the only thing I want gambit" (of course I got all kinds of other stuff too, although I don't remember any of that. I still HAVE the Trivial Pursuit set ... with the really pale pastel color pies, not the brighter ones that came with the next edition out)

I'm a veritable fount of useless knowledge, and do REALLY well at TP. In all the years I've been playing, I've only ever been beaten once, and that has been acknowledged as a fluke.

Nobody will play it with me anymore. At least not since the time when I was playing against a TEAM of three people, and still beat them with half my brain tied behind my back ... (and allowing them to read through all the questions on the final card, rather than just choosing the category)

Shit ... it's 20 years already?

6 for 7. Got the timing wrong and guessed Classic Coke rather than Diet.

Last time I played, it was the 20th anniversary edition, and we played 4 against 1, the 1 being another person who claimed to be unbeatable. We beat him handily.

None of those questions are particularly difficult; I had 6 of 7, not getting the Monopoly one (I've only played it a few times). I still maintain that the 20th is more difficult than older versions.

UT said those questions came from the TP web site. I assume that they wouldn't put the "Oh fuck me, no one knows this!" sort of questions in their advertising lest people simply give up and walk away.

Judges, can we accept that?

*pause*

No, I'm sorry. The correct answer is, "What are college graduates?"
