250 is way too high. 70 is Ideal, but no lower. With meds and insulin I'm hanging around 100.

When mine got/gets down to 150 or so, I turn into a bear and start tearing people's heads off and eating them.

Because the bacteria in your stomach, which have evolved through natural selection to eat what you feed them, are dying. Take a couple capsules of activated charcoal (health food store, or maybe your grocery store's vitamin section) and the bear will go away, plus you won't die of diabetes.

But, yeah I need to get a little control over it.
Two fifty is too high. Should be 97-120. Every time your sugar gets too high neurons in your brain dies and leads to Dementia. IMO.

I just tested mine, fasting this morning, and it's at 97. But these meters are considered accurate as long as they are within 20%. So I could be more like 115.

When I visit the doc, I'm always at around the 100 mark with their tests. sometimes over, sometimes under. But I have a little numbness in my big toes these days anyway.

A healthy person should be in the 70-99 range when fasting.

How many dwellars have diabetes? It seems really popular. I didn't realize it is a form of arthritis.

I guess I'm grateful that is one ailment I don't have, my plate being rather full at the moment.

About 1 in 10 Americans has it, and after age 65, that increases to 1 in 4.

Neither did I, but that explains why I had to call AAA to change a tire.
