Suppurating Pustule

Whoa. A high school history teacher of mine claimed to have actually been in a band named that at one point.

Sweaty Cellar (eclectic - their first hit "Lumberjim's Lament")

Wolf's Wackies (headbanger music)

Sycamore Sneers (music for angry young men)

Elspode's Electrode (music for angry old men)

Radar's Rage (high-concept thrasher stuff)

Whaddaya think?

According to some religions, if your brain annoys you, cut it out with a spork.

I hate to get semi-serious, but I'm carrying around an actual good name for a band (as in, one I'm saving for a band I'll probably never form.)

I was flipping through the CD club pamphet long ago, and suddenly realized I saw a cool name on the previous page. Flipping back, I got confused, 'cuz it was a page of classical music, and this was not a classical name.

What I saw: Soundhelm. What was printed: Sondheim.

Band names I used prior to coming up with Sycamore:

--Shoebox
--Suicidal Elves
--Swell
--Sin

I have another crazy band name, but I don't want to reveal it b/c there is a remote possibility that it could become my new musical project. And if/when it does, I wanna surprise you all.

I'm sort of fond of "Last Liberal Standing"

*Chuckles*
I keep reading that tagline and it does make me laugh. The word liberal conjures up very different images to an Englander....I keep glimpsing in my mind's eye an image of the leader of the Liberal Democrats wielding a large black hand gun...ok. I started typing that and the only guns I could think of were colt 45 and ak47 and I dont think either of those are the ones in my picture.

Original Band Names

There used to be a band called Dumpy's Rusty Nuts, which always gave me a laugh, but the best one I saw was on a flyer for a death metal gig which had about 4/5 bands and was headlined by a band called the Bastard Son's of Satan which I thought a some what of a ring to it.
Never heard of them again though, wonder why?

All time best real name for a band was Kinky Friedman and his Texas Jewboys....The only Texas Jewish Cowboy Country singer in the world...and a bloody good writer too

LJ, I can't even begin to express my dissappointment with you.

And for the rest of you slackers, you're either newbies or just fucking lazy.

Because everyone knows the BEST cellar originated band name is...

Wrong Door Interaction

I think we can thank clodfobble for that one? Can ye confirm cf?

Gotta admit tho that "Dumpy's Rusty Nuts" is pretty sweet.
