Kinda off-topic, but I used to use ALLOFMP3 all the time. Right now, I'm using Gomusic.ru. Pretty good, but no multiple file downloader.

I've not been a huge fan of ITunes until buying the ipod. First the nano and now the 80G video ipod.
The nano is great for bike rides and working out. It's small and holds more then enough music or podcast for a good ride. Most of the material that is in my ipods are radio programs so there hasnt been a big need for ITunes until lately. After buying the 80 I went looking through the ITunes video section. The movies arent very interesting to me but the TV shows have been a big hit. The video is great for such a little screen and it has more than enough space for me to download a TV series season, make some personal memos or recordings, and download the photos off the camera as well as listening to my normal MP3 radio shows. My main criticism of it was that the battery doesnt last long with the accessories but now with a good external rechargable battery, it's great. With all the accessories, it's exactly what I've been looking for. Much of the time I just need something to listen to for hours at a time. Like times at work. Then there are times that having the video is wonderful. Like sitting around airports for hours at a time or flying overseas flights. The ipod 80 video gives me the entertainment functions of a laptop without the cost or the bulk. The whole collection of add-ons fits into a small bag. Perfect. It's not been cheap but I enjoy ITunes ( video ) and the Ipod very much lately. |
