Nah. I know people sometimes get ganged up on in here, but unless an account has been banned the only person responsible for a dwellar leaving is the dwellar concerned.

This sort of stuff really pisses me off. Don't get me wrong, I have in my time stormed off a forum (gaming related: ain't no flamefest like a pvpers' flamefest on a guild forum) and then often as not reappeared slightly sheepishly a week or so later. So, don't anyone take this as an attack on Shawnee. Many of us have done it, others will likely do so in the future. What pisses me off about it though, is that the person storming out is clearly, at that point, giving more weight and importance to the small number of people pissing them off, than to the much larger number of people who thought they were getting along.

It's completely understandable. I know there have been times I have stayed away from the Cellar a few days, or logged off fuming with thoughts of a goodbye post rattling around my head, and I was clearly giving more weight to the people who were pissing me off at that point, than I was to people I consider friends. ..... Feels fucking annoying when I am on this side of the situation though.

Yes, I am. The short version ... momWolf was hospitalized for deep vein thrombosis, two weeks later for a heart attack. I have to move, which means packing 14 years worth of collected dodads and books and arrange for moving sometime after Oct 15, which is the start date of my new lease. I'm hoping to pull things together and be in the new place by sometime in mid November. wolfSibling claims that she will be able to take some time off to come down to help with that.

I don't feel cool about it. I do find it amuzing that he carries on like such an old grump most of the time, which is better than being offended every time he calls me names because he doesn't like what I have to say.
