Lost my post, so here I go again in a shorter version. I went to a wedding reception tonite. thought I'd give you guys a look at what a typical Vietnamese wedding menu looks like. We were at a Chinese restaurant tonite though, and the food was not good. I'll explain more tomorrow. Here are the menu and food pix. I didn't take a pix of the first two dishes, which are the soup and the cold cuts.

Menu. They served soup then cold cuts. Pity I didn't take a pix of this dish cuz it was interesting.

Peking duck. I was told to put the sauce, the green stuffs, and the Peking duck into the steam bun and eat it as a sandwich.

Last dish was taro paste sweet soup. It's a sweet dessert dish.

Cake was pretty and tasted decent but I forgot to take a pix. A cropped pix of the cake here. Hope it's not too blurry.

In general, the food wasn't good to me. I've tasted much better.

Ohmigosh!
It might not be good to you, but to me it looks double mega gorgeous.

As I expect you did too.
Any pics of you in your wedding garb?
You look uber-cute in that photo of you and your "nephew"

I am going to post up my pix, both from the morning ceremony and at the night reception. I'm going to wait to grab my pix from my friend first then choose the best ones.

Big V: those chips were awesome. The person who gave us those bought them in Japan. Some have dry shrimp baked in them too. Sadly, I don't know where to buy them here.

I have not been eating too healthy lately and started to gain weight again.

Anyways, here's lunch. Vegetarian Vietnamese sandwich, coconut water, and some kind of dessert. I forgot what it is. :p

Earlier when I was snacking, my sister asked if I would like to share a sandwich? I told her I'd prefer to wait until later to eat the whole thing myself because I was eating corn then. She heard me wrong and divided the sandwich for dinner. I told her I wanted to eat the whole thing, so she went and cut the second sandwich in half in order for each person to have one whole sandwich. Ha....silly girl.
