And RF last Sunday. Dan & I have been volunteering at the Eagles home games for a couple years now. We got to go last Sunday on a last minute cancellation...

Got an early-ish start and it was sprinkling off and on, so the trail was much emptier than usual for a Saturday. Billy Goat Trail. Great Falls National Monument, MD side of the Potomac. |

Yes! In fact there were some really nice shrooms, and I actually remarked to my son that it would be cool to know which ones you could eat, and which ones you couldn't, because if the ones we saw were edible, it would have made a nice meal or two.
The idea of foraging for dinner appeals to me, but the knowledge needed seems so vast and difficult to acquire that I don't feel motivated to start. |
