I think full frontal would do the trick. It'd keep one hand off the keyboard, anyway, so they'd only be able to type half as fast.

UT, i don't doubt that some dwellars - you included - are supportive and respectful. but every time I come back here, especially after being away for a while, i only see more and more intolerance, bigotry, name-calling, pettiness... it breaks my heart a little to see the cellar circling the drain. The internet's a pretty awful place, but the cellar, to me, was always separate from that, and more like, well, a community. now it feels like so many other forums out there. and that really... sucks.

If you don't like what the Cellar is today, post more often and it will be more to your liking tomorrow.

The cellar is no different to the way it has always been. There is bigotry and understanding, spitefulness and kindness, cold shoulders and warm hearts. As there always was.

You have distanced yourself from us and so you are no longer feeling the warm and fuzzy that comes from acceptance and day to day interaction

To a large extent you will find in the cellar whatever you expect to find as
That is what you will mentally screen for. The fact that you have come to the conclusion we're a bunch of bigots who aren't to be trusted with the emotional
And cultural sensitivities of lbgt issues basednon some flippant comments on the nudie thread whilst steadfastly ignoring the warmth and support Pamela has met with on annoincing her transition and posting a gorgeous glamour pic shows just how selective you are being.

I understand that as a lgbt youth you are acutely aware of potential slights and bigotry on this area, but I believe you are over reacting to a few minor misteps on our part whilst ignoring the main thrust of the cellar which is actually more understanding and inclusive than most communities.

Give the kid a break. It's bad enough trying to figure out who you are in the world, but add to that the difficulties inherent in having a gender identity that isn't considered the norm by most people and those pronlems are magnified ad infinitum.

Whne th world meets you with hostility it becomes easy to expect hostility, even where there is none. Comments like the above do not help this.

Whilst I am urging Ibby to be more understanding of the posters in this thread, I'd also like to suggest that people in this thread be a little more understanding of his perspective.
