Glad you enjoyed it. Did you know that Jersey has it's own devil too?

The Jersey Devil

Quote:
The Jersey Devil, the supposed mythical creature of the New Jersey Pinelands, has haunted New Jersey and the surrounding areas for the past 260 years. This entity has been seen by over 2,000 witnesses over this period. It has terrorized towns and caused factories and schools to close down, yet many people believe that the Jersey Devil is a legend, a mythical beast, that originated from the folklore of the New Jersey Pine Barrens. Others disagree with this point of view. The following text will show there is evidence to support the existence of an animal or supernatural bring known as the Jersey Devil. The evidence consists of the stories of the Jersey Devil's origin, the sightings of it, and finally, the theories on it.

Bruce Springsteen even has a song about it.

BeeDee - are you, in some way, working for the New Jersey Tourism bureau?

Unfortunately, that's how most people see New Jersey, especially if all they travel is the NJ Turnpike. But there really are some very beautiful areas here. I'll post up some pictures soon.

Sorry BDE - that was not directed at you.
I lived in central jersey for three years. Its actually a beautiful state. The northern part was ruined by the New York overflow. The southern beaches are great when the tourists (NY'ers) are gone. The oceans have been over-fished by people who just wanna catch and kill as many as they can with little regard for sport. Did I miss anything?

ETA - Oh wait - its got great gas prices!

Looks like you covered everything.

So we were neighbors for 3 years? I actually wish I could move further south. I would love to be at the beach all year. Maybe someday.

It's fun to browse through them and look at the dynamics of the different groups. And here's one poor girl that went through by herself.
