Resurrecting as I'm re-watching the film.
I'm trying to watch it from an outsider's viewpoint. The person who has given it back to me hasn't watched anything with Simon Pegg before. She said something along the lines of, "Didn't you just want to smack him at first?"

Nope.

Well, maybe if I got to see his naked arse (note to Edgar Wright - more Pegg arse please).

I've thought about it and I'm not sure if it's a good thing or a bad thing. I mean he's not known globally. So perhaps it's not good if you soend half the film wanting to wallop him. But then he is an actor playing what it (I suppose) a pedantic jobsworth. So it's good that he's convincing, right?

Well I think she's weird for not immediately falling for him anyway.

BTW, no matter how much adore Pegg & Frost, to me Jim Broadbent steals the show. And that's bloody tough in such a strong ensemble cast. I love his phrasing. It's a close run thing, but he comes out tops. Just not in the yum front.

I can't wait to get this. I have Shaun of the Dead. I rented it and loved it so much I had to buy it. I am a freak about special features and reading the post about all of them is making me drool!!

I have recommended this movie to two coworkers within the last week. It's definitely one of my new favorites. (although I don't get all wiggly over Simon Pegg. Perhaps its something to do with not being British?)
