Don't think at all. I made one with a ss. welding rod
and hickory handel, For ribs and such it's great. Most Steak lovers don't belive in polking holes to let juice out. IMHO bb

I agree. I prefer my tongs for everything I put on the grill. I was just curious. I make my burgers pretty loose so I don't think it would work well for me.
