today will be the second day since mid February we break into the mid 70s. This has been the longest Juneuary ever.

Paper today had a nice chart showing how this spring was the hottest spring on record for DC. It wasn't particularly bad, but you need a nice spring to get you to be able to endure the hot summer. If you have hot summer weather in spring, then the summer weather in summer is just that much harder to deal with. Where do I lodge a complaint? It might break 100 today. It will certainly come close. Wtf?

It was "hot" yesterday, well into the mid to upper 70s. This is two days in a row that I've cast a sharp shadow. It will be 70 again today, a relief.

As you can see from the chart, there have been a couple days warmer than normal, but there's a lot of green over the tops of the blue bars since... forever.
