Ohhhh. That's lovely.

But those ain't the Dales.

That was just Shibden valley, at the back of our village. Where I walk my dog.

I'll have to dig out some pics of the Dales and maybe Bronte country as well :p

I want that cottage so bad I could eat it.

But want does not reality maketh so, thereto, and hereforth...well for one thing I can't convert to those poundy things and for another I don't have enough of those poundy things.

1) calm down
2) find out where you live now ( you are kinda confused by your description )
3) get a good job earn lots of poundy things
4) send them all to me.
5) repeat 4.

I'm just too provincial - I equate travel and ex-pat status to money. Maybe you got out just as the "W" years were commencing?

actually I did ok in the internet boom years... meeting, kidnapping, selling certain chatters into bonded slavery.
