One reason her boyfriend sank into the background was that the initial prosecution basically characterised him as entirely under the spell of Knox (the femme fatale).

From the perspective of the media though, she's more interesting. Not just because she's a chick, but also because she's an English-speaking American chick, caught up in a foreign justice system. That makes it inherently more interesting to American and British media and public.

I'll save you the trouble. There are conflicting studies. Listerine has done studies that show its mouthwash kills LOTS of germs growing in a petri dish. Other independently funded scientists did a study on Listerine use in the human mouth and found that it killed no more germs than simply rinsing with water did.

Since Listerine is meant as a mouth wash, and it (and all other tested mouthwashes) are no better than water in the mouth, tw has concluded that it's worthless. And Listerine can still advertise that it kills germs because they use the words "in vitro" instead of "in vivo."

But I like it because it's tingly.

Whether or not it causes cancer, be your own judge.

They did drop the alcohol content when earlier testing showed a cancer risk with alcohol concentrations above a certain point.
