I did ask about the cost, not the payment type. I also answered both mentions of credit cards. But, I also believe that saying you are going to kill yourself over debt is absurd

Yea. I think I am going to save a big adventure for the year of my 40th. That'll give me time to make sure I have the money.

I actually found a local (to Iceland) travel agency, so I am thinking of going that route. But, it also seems like every hotel directs you to a site offering day trips which means I could book exactly what I want when I want it. AND I'll know the exact cost of the whole trip beforehand.

Unless I can get someone to go with me, probably. It's CRAZY expensive. I'd rather spend that money going somewhere else now that I have a list of places around the world I want to go. I'll be at Key West the week after this year.
