I'm having to make a difficult decision here ... do I try to stay awake until 7am, or do I try to get up for it?

Or go for the tape replay on the 6 pm news?

Yeah, it's true. Dogs smell, slobber and shed too much to belong in a house. They can be great useful animals, I'll give you that - they just suck as pets.

So just get quiet, small, non-slobbering shorthair dogs noted for their cleanliness. They'll clean each other.
