In late May, Early June of this year I went to visit my daughter in Gulfport, MS and then flew to Ohio and drove with my (now ex-) boyfriend back to Vegas. Here are some of the pics from the road trip, starting with Colorado and working backward.

I-70 West, between Grand Junction and Denver was closed due to a jack-knifed rig, so we were forced to take a detour around the 2 mile segment of highway that was blocked. Unfortunetly, the detour was 50 miles on windy, rocky mountain 2 lane roads, so the detour took 2 and a half hours. Pretty country, though.
