[Cicero/] "Even a lotus blossom can grow from the mud." lol! [Cicero]

“Even amidst fierce flames - the golden lotus can be planted,” a quote from 16th century Chinese poet Wu Ch’Eng-En.

I actually didn't think this was a discussion about Buddhism. I thought it was about the philosophy of nirvana.

Personally, I don't think buddhists have a corner on that market.

If you are really interested, read the old texts and ask questions until you "get it". Better luck in the next lifetime hon- and you better chant your ass off until you become a man, then you might not have the bad karma of being a woman, and then you might be on your way.....
I think its you who need to re-read the texts or manuscripts. The buddhist literature tends to acknowledge this world and all the higher dimensions as part of a singular truth. Often the dark half (our world) is potrayed as the female diety. The recognition of the other half is potrayed or symbolised as male diety. There is more than the literal meanings to what you read. Even the most of the chinese concept of ying-yang theory is based on similar guidelines.
