I've noticed over the last few days that things are changing quickly for me.

I also upped my issues to 2 a day.

And joined the UN.

You'll see Penelopes ranks #1 in the UN rankings for our region today. Guess we're the most liberal!

Poorly written choices today so I dismissed it. Either ban cloning or subsidize it? That sort of thinking is what gets you crazed religious/anti-religious nuts and killer budget deficits. *grumble* Statists left and right really burn my muffins.

I only got the one on public nudity.

My people, however, are very content now that they may eat their national symbol.

I'm the only one who voted no on the public nudity, aren't I?
What's this about voting on nudity? I haven't seen anything on that.

It seems like we are getting different issues. Mine was about the death penalty.

The vote in the UN is currently about minimum wage issues.

The Federation of Island in the Sky
"Ad astra per asperum"

UN Category: Civil Rights Lovefest
Civil Rights:
Superb Economy:
Good Political Freedoms:
Superb

Location: the Pacific Regional Influence: Minnow

The Federation of Island in the Sky is a tiny, socially progressive nation, remarkable for its barren, inhospitable landscape. Its compassionate, intelligent population of 5 million hold their civil and political rights very dear, although the wealthy and those in business tend to be viewed with suspicion.

The large government concentrates mainly on Social Welfare, although Healthcare and Education are on the agenda. The average income tax rate is 26%. A large private sector is led by the Basket Weaving industry, followed by Woodchip Exports and Automobile Manufacturing.

Crime is relatively low. Island in the Sky's national animal is the cougar and its currency is the sky gold franc.

I'm spying on a group that started just before us and who sent me an email suggesting I might like to join them.

So, I'm going to find out how they run their place and then I'll be back.

Interestingly, we are quite similar, except that I'm still allowing voluntary voting.

Congratulations to Ibramia!
