I don't think I'd be suitable though... too erratic in my dwelling these days :P Never know when I am going to vanish for a couple of weeks and even when I am around, I often just do a flyby ('specially now *grins*)

I think the current mods have done a fine job. If bruce and wolf wanted to continue I'd definately support that. If not, well, pretty much most of the regulars strike me as a good bet. Happy Monkey, Glatt, monster, Case, cloud, Clod, lookout and LJ all spring to mind. As do Zengum, Elspode and .... can't quite believe I am about to type this name, but here goes: Urbane Guerilla.

I'm hoping to resolve the internet access issue shortly, now that the moving and holiday rushes are both over!

Oh, and trust me, you don't want slang having this kind of power.

It would be kind of like LJ moderating, but without any impulse control.

Since my name has been thrown in the Goblet of Fire, I should say that I plan to leave Japan (and thus my superfast* internet access) sometime within the next three months, and don't know what kind of access, nor how much free time, I will have after that. So I think I had best decline this year. If I am still about next year I would like to put some effort in to the cellar.

*About 20MBPS ... If I could be bothered dealing with the hassle of doing business in a foreign language, I could have fiber-optic all the way to my computer and get about 100MBPS for less money than now. There are some things about this country that I will really miss.
