A new battery will fix that.

Difficult to get hold of now. I cuold probably get one off ebay...I may just do that. Mind you, the speaker had started to get a little quiet too towards the end. Now that I think about it that was starting to be a bit of a pain.

the thing with the really bottom-of-the-line phones is replacement batteries cost more than a new phone.

That's what i found with very old phones. A new battery for an old nokia is not easy or cheap to get hold of.

and that's probably not because the batteries are so expensive, but rather because the phones are so cheap.

I don't we put as much effort in to house shopping as we have phone shopping this time.
Non-data plan phone choices are limited with verizon (and the lady at the store gave different choices than the man on the phone), but better than att at least, my sis just got a new phone there and there was only 1 option.

Jim just ran out to look at them in person again... I think we'll make a decision by the end of the week... maybe.

You're goin with the Chocolate Touch, right? *blinks* I tried to say it in a way that didn't sound like a double entendre, but I think I snapped something.

dunno squat about 'em, but I've heard some bad things about the versa. There is a new company out there, been running a lot of ads recently, who makes a great one that is fine with verizon service.

I'm pretty sure about the env3 - the choc touch and the versa seem cheap and ready to break to me, and the touch screen thing seems iffy.

Oh yeh - the touch screen (even though it has a lock) gets scratched and makes phantom calls while in your pocket or purse. . . or so I've heard.
