I didn't get into Doom so much. Played it a bit. Found it very atmospheric. But didn't get into it enough to warrant cheatcodes. But I was addicted to Wolfenstein. I remember before we got our first PC, we had an Amiga and used to go hang out in the new computer shop in Bolton. The manager was a really cool guy; very dry sense of humour and we basically hung out with him playing Wolfenstein on the display computer. We may or may not have also vanished with him to the carpark at lunchtimes to smoke spliffs...

Happy days.

From the moment i played Wolfenstein I knew I needed a pc. It took me another year and a half to actually acquire one ;P
