My life is complicated. But when compared to the folks in Sandy's path, I'm doing pretty damn good. I've been avoiding the Internet and cable news because I get so enraged over what I've read and heard re the election. We're in this amazing protected valley. When Irene came through we had a bit of rain. 15 miles south of us in VT, their shit got all fucked up.

It's so weird waiting for this to arrive. The flooding is going to be much worse than the wind damage. We already start with full moon high tides. We are gonna need your winch Sarge. And bring sand because the Jersey beaches are going to be devastated.
