Thanks for the insight!!......
perhaps you have a problem trusting people that you should believe in...just a guess.

Then it all turned out that we were at my boss's house and it was her fault for leaving a door open that led onto the cut-off ramp. I asked her why she didn't have a stop sign there? She said "Oh yeah, I guess I should" So I was thinking of suing her.
edit after a little research:
the water signifies some sort of emotional cleansing. ask yourself about your current feelings.
the lawsuit signifies that you are looking for credibility. Professional identity. Looking for power and recognition. perhaps from your boss, and you don't feel like she's giving you the credit you deserve.

Noodle ... have you been in one of those life reassessment phases? Looking at where you've been, what you've done, what you've accomplished, and what you've fucked up? Are you at all wondering if your current measure of either success (or aggregate goodness) is just kind of a surface thing, and the real you is kind of careworn?

yeah, but I've been doing that for awhile now. It hasn't manifested itself in dreams before, if that's what it is. Don't have time to go through it all now, but definitely a time of path-choosing and thinking about stuff I could've done differently. For example -- if the band thing takes off (we've got a couple of pretty good gigs coming up, with a slim chance of getting a bit of recognition and maybe even touring IF we can sort out our personnel stuff), should I take the full time editing job that's going to be offered next month?

Yes, I know I don't edit my forum posts very well. But I could if i wanted to.

Relationship ghosts are floating around lately, too.

Not to be flip, but, what kind of relationship ghosts? Need more info to process!

PS--If I needed editing, and I do, I'd pick YOU!

dreamt this: many, many fabulous people, a party; Lj and Marichiko; wolf and BigV; many Cellarites, all of them, new, old, right-wing, left-wing--beautiful people, smart, wanting a party; a good party. That means good food. Lots of bits and pieces...lots of goodies, jewels. Minute bad things: habits, smokes...Grande bad things: snorts, licks...habits. We all know habits.

Lots of mascara, spritz, red lipstick.

Filthy orange silks. Gold bangles.

wake up next morning. Headache. Birds. Crisp.

Were the birds or the headache crisp?

The morning air was crisp.

I'm thinking I need to take a break from here? What do you think?

Certainly not. It's not like this place is addictive or anything ... (pauses to wrap mouse cord around upper arm to bring up a vein)
