Poor dog is going to be flash blinded by the time you get it home.

When it comes to doggies, the bigger the better, imho! Cic, she's a sweetie. I like the name Osa!

Yea. Well this dog won't be as big as other Rott's. If you look at the little paws- well that's usally a good indication of the size it will be. Small paws- small doggy. I like larger dogs but well, I'm smitten. It's just too late to turn back now!! I think she'll be stocky with the coloring of a bear-hence the name bear. Small for a Rott- but stocky.
![]() Who cares? She's a sweetheart!!! I like the name Osa- you guy's don't see it there but she has a circle on her belly like the letter O. It's a little white o that takes on the shape of a spider as it moves up her neck. It's pretty cool!

I'll try not to go too crazy with the photos. But this is just too much. I just have to share it!
I got to go see the sweetheart yesterday...She went outside for the second time ever, was scared of it all, and took to hiding by my husbands legs. I think my husband found a little friend.:p It's funny that out of all the people around, and never really being around my husband, the puppy went right to my husband to hide when she was scared, not the current owner, or the other strangers around. She stuck by us. Huh? How does that little puppy know who to go to already? Well I guess we know who she favors, it's a good thing we're the ones taking her home someday!:p

Maybe your hubby's body language communicates an alpha male status. She may believe him most capable of protecting her. Or, was he the one that stayed most still, or had the slowest movements? that usually reassures an anxious pup.
She's absolutely frikkin gorgeous btw. |

That's a super-cute picture, Cic.
If that were mine I'd definitely frame it. Time to address the dog/ cat balance. Popped into work last night to pick something up and the Diz cat followed me. As he was being pretty talky I decided to film it. As usual, nothing much happens - it's just me an' ma boy ![]() |

Never give your dogs cooked bones.
![]() The steak bone Pearl ate is quite visible in the upper middle here. The good news is that Pearl has entirely digested it. The bad news is that the heart murmur they found in the process of checking her, means she's a heart patient for the rest of her life. It's level 3 - out of 6, I think - and they say this is what'll probably get her, in the end. They say it'll take 2-3 years, cutting her life expectancy in half. Meanwhile she is now on blood pressure medication. |

Glad to hear she digested the bone... I didn't know about the cooked bone thing.
Sorry about the news about her heart. Not evenly remotely the same, but my cat Bunyip lived for 15 years with a congenital kidney defect.
