I have to admit having a hard time correlating the mug image with anything concrete about dollars, i.e. does the foam at the top count as a few sips missing? When the mug is filled, how much of a meniscus is there?

Maybe it's somewhere in these 45 pages of posts but I guess what I'm looking for is a small chart correlating mug images with % fill. Which probably destroys all the mystique and appeal of the whole premise.

Just like in real life, the foam means nothing. Only the amber part counts. Also just like in real life, refreshing is often the key.

I imagine it was fun making those images. Kind of like a trip down memory lane to a kid's science fair project, except with a reward at the end.

It has occurred to me for years that these are not appropriate for the nondrinkers amongst us. But I always forget to take replacement shots with tea or coffee or something else.
