Cell Phones Help Fight Alzheimer's
Jan. 6, 2010 -- Cell phone exposure may be helpful in the fight against Alzheimer's disease, a new study shows.
The study, involving mice, provides evidence that long-term exposure to electromagnetic waves associated with cell phone use may protect against, and even reverse, Alzheimer's disease. The study is published in the Journal of Alzheimer's Disease. The researchers conclude that the findings could mean electromagnetic field exposure might be an effective, noninvasive, and drug-free way to prevent and treat Alzheimer's disease in humans. http://www.webmd.com/alzheimers/news...ght-alzheimers |

That's because if you smash up your car, or walk out in front of one, you probably won't live long enough to get Alzheimer's.

Well it is weird that they were saying cell phone use could cause brain cancer and here they found out that the plaque from Alzheimer is destroyed by the radiation instead.
The article inspired funny scenarios about the cell phone but they were humorous funny and not morbid funny. "It surprised us to find that cell phone exposure, begun in early adulthood, protects the memory of mice otherwise destined to develop Alzheimer's symptoms," study researcher Gary Arendash, PhD, of the University of South Florida, says in a news release. "It was even more astonishing that the electromagnetic waves generated by cell phones actually reversed memory impairment in old Alzheimer's mice." |

Doc: I've got bad news and really bad news: The bad news is that you've got cancer. The really bad news is you've also got Alzheimers.
Patient: Well, thank god I don't have cancer!

She'll be great at it, just because she believes what she says.
