Oh, ick! You read Soldier of Fortune? Well, I suppose you would. I used to know a guy that wrote for them, and, in real life, he was the most arrogant wussy boy you'd ever want to meet. He bought a jeep for $5,000 from some friends of mine, and drove off into the sunset and never sent them the agreed upon monthly payments. He DID send them a free subscription to the mag, tho. I liked the thinly veiled classifieds in the back for killers for hire. You're a man of the world, alright, UG. In fact, I bet you're Bruce's alter ego when he gets tired of being so nice and funny, and wants to let out his inner Neanderthal. :p

I'm not sure if I buy into the rant about people being educated here and then leaving for other countries (I hear that alot). Although higher education in the States is great, it's also pricey, and it's certainly not a monopoly. I hear people refering to education as a commodity, why is it so wrong then to buy a good education here and do with it whatever you want? I'm not saying I want to run off and do work for the Chinese government or anything like that, but can you call someone a traitor for accepting a better job overseas??

Then what are you doing in here discussing it, if you don't give a shit about it? Just want to throw a monkey-wrench in a conversation you have nothing to do with... get your ego on? Thanks.

The "rant" is about usury. If you feel the US is so "evil" and "terrible"... don't have anything to do with something you find so distasteful, again letting your ethical/moral system dictate your actions. Part of that is staying out of our educational system if the US is your ultimate evil. It ain't hard.
If you hate global warming, don't work for company that uses a coal burning turbine with no exhaust scrubbers and just pays the fines. Any of this getting through?

I wasn't refering so much to people who hate the US so much as people who don't mind it but plan to work in another country for better wages or ethical (company specific) concerns or whatnot. I got ranted at after making the statement that I should learn Japanese or Chinese since they seem to be sucking up so many grads now...

No, I don't bluster, my Neanderthal is physical.

No, annoyed, because you are acting like you don't get it when you do. You do that a lot. It is a cheap way of debating.
Just debate, if your point is weak, then concede or just stop.

Oh, I don't care about them... but if they want to go to school here they need to learn conversational English first.
Part of this rant should be that English needs to be our national language and all business and paperwork should be in that one language.
Either that or their nations need to have all of their documents and business in both languages in all cases. Which you know is not going to happen. (I don't want to hear about most)

BTW, I ran this post through Gender Guesser.

This would explain a lot.
