Cracking final can.
Thanks to those on gabbly, has been a great night.

Probably won't repeat it (this is at the end of leaving-Leicester-hedonism) but glad I did. Feels like a festival experience in that I can hear wood pigeons and see clearly outside, but no-one in their right mind is awake.

I may post again - I have another 20oz to drink. If not, I thank UT for hosting, the mods for tolerating, all those who talked to me on Gabbly knowing I was inebriated, Monster esp for translating, Jinx esp for not being creeped out and the Stella Artois brewery for taking a chance on an unknown drinker...

Right, about to go
Feel woozy rather than drunk, but no doubt will rely on this thread for memory of tonight! Think I lasted quite well tbh

For the record - LJ found a video of Angel's Heap and dissed it (?!) but agreed to sing a NF/ CH song of my choice

Got over temporary nausea, but v ready for bed.

Did edit for spelling, but it's only fair.

Really am going now.
the keyboard appears as fairly random letters, so I know it's good I've reached a positive end point.

Nite all you. Going home to earplugs, eyemask and cats twatting my face at 08.15. Love you all (well, most of you)

Finish with a Neil Finn lyric
I know where the sun goes
It's waking up the sparrows
In England it's morning......

I thought an extract of a poem/ play used in a car advert meant on of my favourite poets was widely recognised.
Oh I love that advert. I also love Under Milkwood. The most beautiful use of language and rythm. And Burton's voice when he's narrating is like liquid honey.

Well, I wasn't here for the experiment unfortunately. I did get very drunk at a Ciderfest (despite me not liking cider) in Hebden Bridge, but alas the Stubbing Wharf pub doesn't have internet access :P By time I got back home I was three sheets to the wind and went straight to bed.

But, really good fun reading it the next day. SG, as usual I am staggered by the sheer commitment to scientific experimentation, which you display. Brava.
