I think it would be important to note that in years past Radar has been called out repeatedly.

Bruce has been slapped around in individual posts, but the huge difference is that you look at his more aggressive posts in the context of the thousands of laid-back posts and cut some slack.

I don't know Rob. I tend ignore most of his threads not because I don't like him, but really just because there are so damn many of them and they generally have a pretty bitter undertone. That is not something I appreciate. So my choice is to just not go there. That isn't a judgement on him, it is a choice of what to do with my time.

Oh, and LJ's a dick and we should all start threads telling everyone what a creep he is.

That's totally unnecessary. There'd really be no "discussion" - even he agrees that he's a dick. :p

Cock!

Most of my threads are from the news, if there is a bitter "undertone" it is not of my doing.
However, I agree, don't like me ignore my posts... it is what a mature person would do.

Really? You wouldn't say this cute little commentary on your own news article isn't bitter? Not even a little bit?

I didn't think that sounded bitter. I have read some stuff rk posted that did...but I don't think that did. It just sounded funny to me.

rk has been adament, strongwilled and over-the-top at times - but thats not really one of the best examples.

i can sympathize with RKZ, Pain is my constant companion.

We may not always agree. If we ever did, I would have to find someplace else to play. Personal attacks are uncalled for, and the last refuge of the uneducated. Can't we all just get along, just a little?

Right, whatever. Rk is just a non-confrontational kind of guy, with no animosity towards religion whatsoever (he only means "fucking scumbags" in the politest possible way!), and his perpetual baby-talk dialect doesn't imply anything cynical about the intellect of believers, and though he finds a way to cram religion into the majority of his posts--even a completely innocuous news story about a scientific discovery, which makes no mention of religion, nor did any board member try to counter the article with creationist claims (hell, ever since OnyxCougar left I'm pretty sure there isn't a single creationist on the cellar at all)--he is not being in any way relentless.

And you know, case in point, it was a really interesting article, and would have almost certainly gotten more than four responses if he hadn't opened the discussion with his typical off-topic mockery and derision.

But you're right, Dana, clearly it was funny. The only way it could have been funnier is if he'd written "debbil" instead of "satan." Zing! No one would have seen that one coming!

Whatever. I'm done trying to help him understand why so many people think he's an asshole. Obviously it's a lost cause.

Brianna, yes I was thinking of you, and one or two others when I posted that comment. Probably because I was one of your main targets and to my mind had done nothing to deserve the crap you flung at me. I appreciate that you're working through your issues now and certainly hope you get them sorted out for your own benefit. I wont mention it again.
