Golf Balls bounce pretty high and many times are easy to catch. Just be glad they weren't eggs. They don't bounce so good.

You know, Jim, you don't always have to empty out the jar and fill it from scratch to get all the balls back in. Sometimes you just need to angle it a bit, get a different perspective on the smaller items, and you can fit the missing balls back in without too much difficulty. Just remember not to tilt the jar back suddenly or they might get damaged.
