I did the whole hood thing because it fitted in with my image of being a lurker (ie. shy of posting, somewhat mysterious, posts only short and forgettable things). I even switched off a couple of lights to make it more dark and lurker-ish, heheh. (I didn't expect to be called cute though, )

But I must have a gazillion pictures of myself online, and even another video of myself in full view.

Yep, I'm female. It's funny but I was mistaken for a boy when I travelled to New Zealand in winter (the clothes hid my frame). I had short hair then. I thought it was pretty interesting that I could pass off as a boy. Heheh...

Very nice, LJ. You sound enough like Seger to front a cover band.

Great singing LJ - listened to it in the shop on Sunday, and a regular customer asked what I was listening to. Was unaccountably embarrassed at being on a forum and just stammered out, "Oh a friend". She was impressed at my international, talented circle of friends

Glatt - you don't sound anything like I expected! But like Bri says, very sexy. Although I know people on this site are furriners, sometimes I ascribe a voice to them anyway. For some reason you've always had a Gloucestershire accent in my head....

Thanks Sundae Girl and Brianna, .

I want to see more videos of people. Just use better equipment than I did.

Awesome, LJ. Does everyone on this board play a musical instrument? (My dad just gave me his old Martin D-18 because he never plays it, so I'm starting to learn the guitar too.)

[derail] I experience the same phenomenon. When i have to tell someone where i heard something, or about a conversation, i feel like a complete geek saying, "on a bulletin board online"[/derail]

oh, and thanks! it was kind of a goof, but i wanted to sing it like i meant it.

I don't play but I do sing.

Too limited to do it professionally, but have done backing vocals for friends, sung in choirs (sang at the Royal Festival Hall and the Royal Albert Hall) and amateur dramatic musicals.

Rambling way to say I have limited talent but great enthusiasm. Growing up Catholic I learned to sing without embarrassment very early - my poor sister-in-law looked terrifed on her first Christmas with us, belting out songs from the musicals in the kitchen. She just joins in now.

If someone starts a song thread I'll find my battery charger & sing you a song. Well, a verse anyway. Hey, maybe we can wait a month and do Christmas Carols?

That's me!

Sad to say I did film some clips of me singing, only to reject them all. It seems SO false to be alone & singing into a camera.

Will have to think of a way that is less precious - perhaps get some props

You could get an inflatable male love doll and some, um...facial massagers, and perform "Do It To Me One More Time", ala Captain and Tennille...

Sundae, you're singing to me....only to me.
You can do no wrong in my eyes, even if you fart in the middle.....go for it.
