Why 'we'?

Why not them? Everyone should stay out of this one. The US especially - we don't have a very good track record around there.

I would usually like that but Israel/Palestine is not going to be solved internally without some outside help. We can not tell them what to do but we can help make it go smoother.

I should have said "we should we work with them to split"
