God no, it's full of sewage and jellyfish and insanely busy with ship traffic.

It's like telling kids: go play on the highway, will ya?

No, I did read about the ship traffic but that's why you have accompanying boats. I had no idea about the sewage and jellyfish!

It was just something we always heard, that swimming the English Channel is a big feat. A featfeatfeat, even.

When I was a kid I thought one day I'd accomplish everything. that was definitely on the list of everything even though I could only just swim. If it wasn't full of sewage and such, or so goddamn expensive to organize, I'd definitely consider it now. I'm aiming for a mini-tri right now though. It's a distant aim, still....

That's wonderful. I need a goal, too. A much smaller one, but a goal. Like, a 10K by summer's end?

not much on the biking, but I just went past 35 miles and and the scale hit a new season low this morning. hot as Hades today with thunderstorms threatening and shitloads to do. not sure how that's going to pan out with getting a swim in. Thanks for asking, Lola Skinny (that was meant to be affectionate as a mark of your progress, just in case it comes across any other way)

Lola Skinny here will accept your affection. That is way cool to see the numbers finally doing a steady drop. Did you change your diet? I'm asking cuz I think eating pizza and cookies might not be the thing to do.

bah. found three this morning. I don't eat the pizza and cookies so much... I have tried to eat smaller portions, but mostly, it's all exercise. But, skinny bunny, I do weigh nearly two of you, so i have loads more wiggle room, so to speak

Maybe the three are from muscles. As for the pizza and cookies comment, I was talking about myself. Sorry for not being more clear about that.

Oh I know, I meant I don't know if that would help because I don't do it. But I didn't give up beer in any way, shape or form. ....Well maybe form -I switched exclusively to a 99cal beer from a 150 cal beer. Maybe makes a difference when you consume as much as I do
