I didn't watch the show you're talking about but I would assume from your comments the it was "all" about Jessica.
The lawyer that tipped us and drew the maps, did tell them the Fedeyeen had left but because of the time lag between his last report and the actual mission, things could have changed so they were being cautious. The lawyers wife was a nurse at the hospital and I think (but not sure) she was the one that knew where the dead were buried on the hospital grounds. They did a thorough search of the facility, recovered the bodies and interogated everyone before they left the hospital. Of course this was all after Ms Lynch was moved. The time lag thing also, as I mentioned in my previous post, was why the lawyer had to get a doctor friend to delay the surgery scheduled for Ms Lynch so she wasn't in surgery when the troops arrived. All that said, I had the feeling at the time and haven't seen anything to change my mind, that the Army knew a great PR story when it fell in their laps. But the fact that they played it to the max for PR, doesn't diminish the bravery and hard work of all involved. The line between heros and victims is surely at it's most nebulous on the battlefield.
