Blind Melon - Blind Melon
(one of those rare not-a-bad-song-on-it albums)

PE - It Takes A Nation Of Millions To Keep Us Down.
Changed Hip-Hop permanently, from a party genre to something that had a voice for those with something real to say.

The Big Easy (listening to, not watching, the DVD). I've got to get the soundtrack--great music.

I'm not familiar with it. Hmm. Just checked -- it's out of print. I'll try to get a copy from one of my buddies.

However, I think it'd be hard to outdo Cannonball Adderly's "Something Else". No showboating, just good music.

The last Ann Rice Vamp movie

The new NIN... I am NOT impressed. Sad, because Twiggy is on the album.

I got some Lisa Gerrard with Peter Bourke and some Suicide Commando today. I wanted the new Rob Zombie but ran out of Jack.
I'm recording a bunch of my classical and Ravi Shankar for my Grandfather's girlfriend this week, she keeps asking me what kind of music I like... for some reason it bugs the shit out of me. I keep telling her that I have eclectic taste, I don't think she hears me.

Antonín Dvořák's New World Symphony.

It's really weird, I'm like.. a classical hipster. I'm not a big fan of Mozart and Bach and all the ones that everybody's heard of... I'm more into Antonín Dvořák, Antonio Vivaldi, Peter Tchaikovsky, Gioacchino Rossini, some of the more obscurish ones (well, I guess Vivaldi and Tchaikovsky arent too obscure, but meh).
