The line-up? ...well you can add Longoria to the list of amazing athletes the Rays hold.

Arizona is now 8.5 games up on the Padres.
The Padres lose the last 3 games Peavy started in.
He did look good out there, but Webb proved better in San Diego.

Tampa Bay Rays 3-0 Boston Red Sox.
Shields outpitched Beckett who started in Matsuzaka's place.
This is no suprise result to anyone who's been watching.
Tampa Bay moves into 1st place in the American league east.
All this in a season where Kazmir has yet to throw a pitch.
Tampa Bay sweeps the Red Sox right after sweeping the Jays, and now travel to Baltimore to face one of the weakest teams in the game.

I'm about to watch Jered Weaver against Verlander.
Here we get to see 2 amazing young pitchers against two of the absolute elite line-ups in the game.
Although Verlander is about a year more progressed than Weaver, I trust the Angels line-up to outscore Detroit's.

My money's on the Angels!

A.Cook vs T.Lincecum

You would have to be crazy to bet against Lincecum this year.
I have been known to have some loose screws.
Te reason for me going against him here is the fact that A.Cook has shown that he is at the top of the game.
Cook has a much easier job in this one as the two line-ups are leagues apart.
It should be low scoring, but the core of the rockies line-up should be able to put a few runs up to give Lincecum his first loss of the season.

One might think that The Candiens superior speed would wear down with the multiple games in the play-offs.
That might start to show against the Penguins in the Eastern finals, but I can't see the Flyers going further than this point.
The one main weakness for Montreal in this series has been goaltending.
