Nice brawl we had in Boston today as Shields gets ejected early on for Innvitably hitting Crisp at his first at bat for sweeping Iwamura at 2nd base yesturday.
Anyhow, The Yankees beat the Blue Jays despite Wang getting beat up as he continues his poor form.

Switserland vs Czech Rep.

Despite the Swiss playing at home, they face easily,the best team in the division.
It pays a pretty penny given the differences between the two teams.

Turkey is a very dangerous team, and may suprise Portugal here.

There is no doubt that Austria is outclassed by Croatia here.
Austria is playing at home though, and Croatia is overated.
Taking out England wasn't as big of an achievment as it looked.
Austia's win pays a fortune here.

This game should determine first place in the division.
I'm not sure if the favorite Germans will be able to beat this strong Polish team.

Poor Romania, they drew into this group of death with 3 of the best teams in the world.
Things may seem grim for them, but I can't imagine them finishing with 0 points.
France is the most likely to give up a draw to the men from the Carpathian mountains.
It also pays a fortune.

IMO, these are the two best teams in the competition.

Lee is becoming more realistic as his ERA has risen to 2.45.
He remains 9-1, and despite facing a really tough task against this line-up, he should do better than Willis.

Do not underestimate the Mariners.

Sweden - Greece

This is easily the best bet of the week!
Greece is not worthy of participating in this cup.
The Swedes are in form, given the fact that this is the normal time for them to be in form as their local competition is a summer occasion where as the rest of the world rests at this time.
The two teams are leagues apart.

Holland 3 - 0 Italy Great freaking game. Holland just attacked and attacked and then attacked some more. Italy couldn't handle the pace or the pressure. The names in the italian side may be some of the greats, but there are a lot of miles on those legs and they just aren't keeping up.

Holland is a great team.
You can't count out Italy at this time, as they will not have to face this great Dutch team again until the final.
Sweden may be tough on the Italians, should they have to face them in the next round, but beyond that, there's not too many teams in this Euro that can beat the world cup Champions.

Sweden beat Greece 2-0, as we cash in huge on our best bet of the week.
Combining it with the suprise tie Romania got from France, and our baseball games:Indians over Tigers and Mariners over the Blue Jays.
We've still got the Angels-Rays under tonight as Weaver faces Shields.

I don't really like any games in the Euro for the next couple days, although I can't imagine the Czech's loosing to Portugal tommorow.

The Czech's weren't even in the game. Portugal had issues with the defense first style the Czech's used for a little while, but then they opened them up and just kept attacking through the end. Fun game to watch even if that little puke Ronaldo is out there.

We cash in again today, as Seattle beats the Jays again, with Felix pitching a gem.
The Angels and the Rays pitched to a 4-2 LA Win making it a 2nd under in a row.
Hamels was amazing for the phillies, striking out 13!
They are tied 2-2 in the 9th.

The Euro is proving to be very profitable, but we must continue to avoid the games were not to sure about.
Group B holds 4 mediocre teams that will have 2 of them innevitably advance.
Friday and Saturday will be the next betting days for the Euro as the stronger group's clash.

The Celtics and Lakers must be avoided as they should be pushed to at least a game 6.... we can't lose that series anyways as we have both horses running.

The Mets will make a run for it in an attempt to catch the Phillies in this 2 horse race.
Santana, Pedro and this amazing line-up, make it highly likely that they will achieve wnning this pennant.
As I've said before, Haren's year in the spotlight as come and gone.
He's back to his mediocre self.
Its not like Arizona has any competition in this extremely weak division.

Peavy's back, so we're gonna continue to ride against him despite him facing this weak Dodgers line-up.
Kuroda is throwing strikes of late as he comes off a complete game shut-out of the heavy hiting Cubs, that included 11k's.

Peavy looked really good out there, allowing only 3 hits in 6 innings.
I didn't expect him to be 100% ready.
Kuroda only lasted 2 & 1/3.

Johan Santana was very impressive as well, going 3 hits, and 0 runs, in 7 innings, but add to that 10 strike-outs.
Lyon gets the win for the Diamond backs.

We cashed in on Romania's draw with France, so don't think I underestimate them.
I also mentioned before the game that Holland and Italy are the two greatest teams in the world.
Italy lacked nothing, Holland was simply superb!
