One of two turtles gifted me by J. The other one is being skittish and hiding behind the rock. Apparently they like to swim most of the time, coming up for air, but then they like to climb up on the rock and sit in sun-like heat to "bask" . |

Are they named yet?

Still waiting on names. One of them has a greener shell, the other's shell has a tiger-like pattern.

Beautiful dog Pie.
Nirvana I would love a dog that size. Apartment sized. The turtles ARE cool. I'm jealous. |

I'm having trouble imagining a turtle "being skittish".

I hope it is, otherwise something's wrong. The active turtle is eating and swimming all around, the inactive one just wants to hide and hang out behind the rock.

Cool, they're cute. What do they eat?
Names should be Terrance and Trevor, that's my vote.

They have a custom turtle food, but you can also give them fruits and vegetables.
