I would like to invite anyone who attended Forks 2004 (and Tony) to a BBQ at my house on Saturday, July 31st at 4:00 in Boothwyn, about 10 miles SouthEast of Plastic Forks. I am sorry to limit it but my house cannot accomodate a large group.

This is a BYOB event. Families with children are welcome. I am inviting friends and family members with children.

Please RSVP by PMing me for directions.

My house is in a development and has an 18x18 deck and a finished basement. I have a small backyard but a long 50x300 foot easement running behind my house for any sports. Entertainment will include an air hockey table. I also have a Xyron 510 bumper sticker maker. Bring along any creations up to 5 inches in height and you can make your own statement to the world.

Drums and musical instruments are welcome, but there may be a time restriction. Unfortunately, there will be no bonfire and no camping or crashing.

Noone has to bring anything. We will have soft drinks, desserts, various BBQ meats and salads, including potato salad, etc. If anyone wants to bring a side dish, they are welcome to do so. It is BYOB.

Okay, I WAS saving the nude skydiving as a surprise, but......

Seriously, don't think I don't envy Bob his access to a semi-secluded plot of private land.

Still, good food and friends are still better than the alternative, a lonely death by starvation.

I think it sounds absolutely delightful!

Have liquor, will travel ... (actually given the necessity of having to travel, I'll have less liquor ... )

That's Rich's friend, Dragon17.

We just let the drum thing go, because the man can cook.

Actually, the drum head had a tiny rip in it, which I cured with duct tape. Unfortunately, I left the drum in the sun and the skin got hot and stretched.

Yesterday I went out and got a regular 18" plastic drum head. As a result, the drum does sound more tinny.

I will be looking for a real 18" drum skin to replace it. The funny thing is that the drum only cost me about $60 to begin with and between the temporary and new head it will probably be almost as much.

I would have rather spent the money on
tambourines or a rain drum , or maybe a fish skin headed doumbek .

Maybe next year.

I think using the wood fireplace in 80 degree weather might be a little crazy. I never bought a chimnea or one of those iron fire pits.

The best I can do is candles.

If you really want to go all out ... get one of my friend Shari's drums.

Awesome artwork. Actually, I had a change of spirit medicine and really need to get a new one ...
