My kitty Ivan is missing! Squeezed out of the front window and pushed out the screen Friday night. Bad indoor kitty! I've walked around calling him, and even took my other cat out with me on a leash to look for him. If he doesn't come back by tomorrow I guess I'll be putting up posters.

Keep looking, he could be scared and hiding. We looked all over the neighborhood for Bunyip once, found him in the garage scared shitless.

I've put up flyers. I've called Animal Control. He's chipped, but I don't actually remember what phone number or email address I used with the chip people. But I have the chip number!

Slick left once for two weeks. I had given up on him, and was just getting to the "Well, I'm glad I didn't have to find him hurt or worse" phase, and then he showed up looking just exactly like he looked when he took off. Black and smug. (And this was after he was fixed. No, that's not why he left.)

Cloud, try putting out the stinkiest canned cat food you can find. Put it out where the air currents can stir the scent through the neighborhood. You might get every animal in the country, but, maybe one of them will be Ivan.

I do this a bit, too. The "edit" button goes away after a while and attempts just bring up the whole quote.
