Pernell "Sweet Pea" Whitaker died July 14. Pound-for-pound one of the world's greatest boxers.

He was crossing the street in Virginia Beach, VA when he was struck by a car.

Former NFL coach Sam Wyche died. Liver cancer, I believe.

Wyche developed the no-huddle-offense while coaching for Cincinnati.
