Thanks everyone for your kind words.

It’s been a difficult few weeks and I’m rather tired to say the least.
It’s not fair to Dad to go into details about his problems but I will allow myself a small indiscretion.
He’s not a man burdened by an excess of patience which does not make the day pass in an atmosphere of tranquillity.

Although I have yet to take an interest in pre-paid funeral plans and elasticated waistbands, I have to come to terms with the fact that I am further down life’s path than I am comfortable with.
This manifests itself in very low energy levels.
Pausing only to refer to the Home Apothecary and Almanack of Ye Bodily Ailements (a copy never leaves my side) I find that I am what is known to medical science as bloody knackered.
That’s it in a nutshell really!

I’ll try to catch up and put in a more regular appearance from now on.

And...

I was only kidding, three women.
Well, if it was good enough for the mutineers of HMS Bounty...

Remember to wear your gardening cloths when you ask the sales people for tranquilizing darts to manage an old badger.

Better geriatrics through modern chemistry.

Keep in mind, you are not required to make a well researched and documented home run post, as you are wont to do, everytime you appear. You can also hang out and relax, temporarily shielded from reality.
